Hi, I want to build my own custom model server , I have seen this https://github.com/eclipse-emfcloud/emfcloud-modelserver for reference, now have some questions.

1. Does these java files in directory “example” all automatically generated from ecore file ?

2. Should I build a new model server make a fresh start by myself , or only need to change some components in the coffee model server then I can use it ?

The code in the directory 'org.eclipse.emfcloud.modelserver.coffee.model' is generated from the corresponding ecore file. The java files in 'org.eclipse.emfcloud.modelserver.example' have been implemented manually.

If you want you can reuse the existing example and adapt it to support your ecore model.
For this, you have to:
create a new EPackageConfiguration for your ecore model. (similar to the CoffeePackageConfiguration).
Then add it to the ModelServerLauncher (similiar to: https://github.com/eclipse-emfcloud/emfcloud-modelserver/blob/master/examples/org.eclipse.emfcloud.modelserver.example/src/main/java/org/eclipse/emfcloud/modelserver/example/ExampleServerLauncher.java#L77).
Afterwards your modelserver should be properly configured and can handle your custom models. (edited)
