A file should be able to implement additional attributes to the existing attributes:

  • VHDLLibrary
  • VHDLVersion
  • VerilogVersion
  • SVVersion

File attributes should resolve hierarchically (File → FileSet → Design → Project).

Usecases:

  • Replace duplicated code and unify implementation for VHDLLibrary, VHDLVersion, VerilogVersion and SVVersion.
  • Allow implementation of additional attributes without duplicating code.
