Hi,

Planning to upgrade elasticsearch cluster with ECK to 8.17.1 but there seems to be no docker image in the elastic container registry for this version?

docker pull docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch:8.17.1
Error response from daemon: manifest for docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch:8.17.1 not found: manifest unknown: manifest unknown

Hey @ppaslan, 8.17.1 has not been released yet, you can subscribe to https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/releases to get notified once it's out.

Hi @jakommo
It looks released according to this link https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/release-notes-8.17.1.html#bug-8.17.1

Does the docker images have a different release cycle?

Ah, thanks for the pointer and sorry for the confusion.

Does the docker images have a different release cycle?

No, docker images should go live the same day as other binaries/packages etc, but the docs could go live a bit earlier.
And it seems the release notes have been pushed to the live already, in preparation for the release in the not too distant future.

@lcawl to keep me honest here.
