Hi, im having trouble with importing the rdc files generated in RenderDOC to Blender, it says its invalid.
Specs:

  • Nvidia geforce gtx 1650
  • Maps model importer v0.7
  • RenderDOC v1.31
  • Blender v4.1
I downloaded different versions of each program with no success. I did follow (https://github.com/eliemichel/MapsModelsImporter/releases/latest) instructions.
I dont know if its some version trouble or if my RDC file is actually invalid, I did move the 3d view while screenshooting the several times I tried. Im using google earth web.
Uploaded the RDC file in a zip called "MODELO"

Thanks for your time

I am running into the same issue, but found out that my file is only invalid when using Google Earth! When I used Google Maps everything worked fine.

I was able to resolve this issue by replacing the contents of %appdata%\Blender Foundation\Blender\%BLENDER_VERSION%\scripts\addons\MapsModelsImporter (You can open this folder by replacing the "%BLENDER_VERSION%" with your version and then pasting this path into WIN + R) with the contents of this folder: https://github.com/eliemichel/MapsModelsImporter/tree/master/blender/MapsModelsImporter
