I noticed that this project hasn't had any active updates in a while.

JavaScript support is still disabled. Deno has been updated to 2.0.

So I want to ask what is the current status of this project? Is it no longer maintained?

Hey, @Ariaszzzhc

Nobody is currently actively working on this project as far as I know.

For the JavaScript support, you can follow #463 for updates. @DavidDeSimone is
the one behind this.

For the Winit/WebRender, PGTK/webrender , I tested it working under Linux Wayland.

I think you shouldn't expect too much from this project for now. Almost all the Emacs development
happens at upstream, like the igc branch, WPE as an alternative to webkitgtk and more.

But there is this WebRender features which can be upstreamed if we do it the way Firefox does it and a window system
directly using wayland-client api. I am currently slowly working on this.
