A basic implementation for initial testing could be to have players stand on a fast travel block and type the numerical index of the unlocked fast travel point to which you want to travel |

I would like to link back to this comment and discuss the possibility of having waypoints inside a map system. Instead of the player defining points to travel to, what if certain teleport landmarks already existed; interacting with them would add them to your map. When you click on it, skeletons come out of the ground and pull you down, which then plops you at the waypoint (or maybe a witch on a broom picks you up?). edit: second paragraph is just adding on to what you said-- I agree with the initial idea. |
That’s basically what I said. The points already exist, you just have to find them. But the map idea is interesting :) |

Basically a spooky themed waystones-like fast travel system for within the dimension. Players activate fast travel points to use and the spawn location of players is the initial unlocked point.
