I like to try and figure a problem out primarily by myself, but if I immediately feel out of my depth will reach out. The majority of the time I will be asking questions and or trying to answer them.
The role I usually take in a team:
Co-ordinator/motivator. My role in the GB Synchro team was 'Mrs Motivator'.
I am a big positivity and bringing the team together - team tension would be my nightmare. I like to lead where I think I am able to, but recognise I don't know the best way for everything and enjoy collaborating with and learning from others where I can.
My communication style:
I'm generally pretty happy-go-lucky and want to have a laugh and enjoy the learning experience, but am able to concentrate and communicate seriously when needed. I always strive to be honest and think candid, constructive feedback is important.
Candid, genuine. Help me with at least the route to a solution - I will get frustrated with criticism that either overly sugar-coated or not constructive.
