can i set the width of columns inside a table split?

i'm wondering if i can make certain items inside a table split have a greater width than others. ive tried columnSpan and to no avail:

        return $table
            ->columns([
                Split::make([
                    TextColumn::make('note')
                        ->columnSpan(2),

                    TextColumn::make('user.name')
                        ->columnSpan(1),
                ])->from('md'),
            ]);

for example i want the split to have 3 column widths in total, and have the first textcolumn take up 2...
