Returning to another tab after adding note

After adding a note to an individual, from the Notes tab (#tab-notes appended to the end of the address), another tab is selected (Facts and events) when returning. It would make more sense if the Notes tab was still selected.

That is not only for the notes tab, but also for edit of tags in facts and events (and others). After each edit/save the first tab is selected. This behaviour is since long time (I think).

+1 for keeping the selected tab selected after edit of a tag.

Yes, as you say it's a general thing. I chose this page as a clear example.
I suppose the source/original page (including possible tabs) can be appended as a parameter to the edit page, to later be used when saving and returning to the page the user was before.
