Lists inside definition lists not rendering as expected

Hello,

When placing lists inside definition lists, like so:

Item
: * foo
  * bar

MMD (MultiMarkdown 6 v6.6.0) will render it like this:

whereas I would have hoped for a rendering like the one shown below (taken from iA Writer), based on the following sentence from the user guide: "Definitions may contain other block level elements, such as lists, blockquotes, or other definition lists.":

Am I using MMD incorrectly, or should it have rendered the definition as a proper list?

It looks like this is a bug in version 6 compared to prior versions. I'll have to dig into it to find the issue and fix.
