Flux Governance 6 month review

More than half a year ago we established our Flux Governance document. The idea behind it was to formalize our values around community, the roles and responsibilities and processes; many of which had been transparent and with our full integrity, but still quite ad-hoc up until that point.

For us it’s time to review this together with our Community and Contributors docs. So we are turning to you for feedback: please let us know what you think. What was your experience up until now? Do you feel things are clear enough?

• One minor issue we know needs to be fixed is links to GitHub teams are only accessible to members of the fluxcd org, so appear broken to other users. We will address that as part of Broken links community#64
• How are the "early" and "late" weekly meetings working for everyone? Most people are able to join one or the other, depending on timezone. Does anyone feel there is any barrier to participation?
• In the Governance doc there is a stated goal to "broaden maintainership to include a wider range of organizations during CNCF incubation." Apart from other forms of outeach and contributor support, does anyone feel there are any processes described in the governance doc which could be improved to further this goal?
• Is anything related to Flux governance unclear? Does anyone have questions? Feel free to leave them here, and through that process we may find areas of the doc that could use clarification.
