When driving on a highway (Autobahn) the GPS tells me to „keep left“ at every exit, instead of telling the correct distance to the next relevant exit for my route. This is really unnecessary. Is there any way around this?

I think I've found the cause of this problem. FZK maps process the exit ramps the same as the main highway, so the Garmin unit tells you keep left (or keep right in drive-on-left countries) at every exit in the same way as it would if the highway split into two highways.
If you make a rule to use transparent line 0x09 for highway=motorway_link and highway=trunk_link, it should solve the problem. You can then set highway=motorway_link to be processed the same as highway=motorway etc. after this rule, so that the rules later on in the lines file for the visible motorway lines will still work.
Here is my full solution: RedEarth1@64eed3d
Please feel free to use it if it works for you too.
