I think we could be definitely compatible with it - https://github.com/typicode/json-server#generate-random-data - I've just noticed our MemoryStorage (from opentrials/tracker-ebola#59) has exactly the same structure.

So the idea is just have in mind this possibility (to allow this integration on top of our codebase).
