Nice list! I had about 80% of the same games on my list as well. Thanks for the notes too because I have skipped on adding some of those because they had PC ports and just assumed the were same or better. And I had never even heard of Daemon Summoner or come across it in searching for games. so I'll definitely check that one out. I'm actually working on Cold Winter right now so it should be done soon. Thanks for the requests and your interest, it's good to know someone enjoys this sort of thing as much as I do! |

Daemon Summoner is honestly quite bad, but it's a "so bad it's good" kind of game. I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it, it's really hard to track down or look up any info on. You can find a rom or two to download that are Europe region, I don't think it ever released elsewhere, and Google/Moby Games also claims it released on PC but I can't find a single bit of proof of that. I completely forgot this also supports Mupen64Plus! Here's a few N64-exclusive games that would be nice to see support for, that are either exclusive to the console or the N64 port was superior:
Also, the Army Men series might be worth looking into, there were a few good third person shooters spread across multiple platforms, though I'm not sure how well those would work with mouse since a lot of them have lock-on aiming. Portal Runner on PS2 (a spin-off in the same series) was free-aim however, so that one might be a good addition. |

Nice, I'll add them to the list. I have looked at some of the Army Men games but saw that same thing that they don't usually have any vertical aiming to them. I'd consider them less as third-person shooters and more just third-person action games. I do think they could be made to have some sort of mouse input even if it's only the x-axis. I've thought about the same sort of thing for the third-person parts of Die Hard Trilogy, just aiming horizontally with mouse to give a bit more precision. And usually I try to disable things like aim-lock and auto-centering either with the injector itself while it's running or with external cheats and it just depends on the game whether not it relies on auto-aim to actually hit enemies. Portal Runner is another one that I had not come across which seems to be of the same sort of quality as Daemon Summoner but I'm down to take a look at it. Another bad one I found was Beverly Hills Cop on the PS2 which looks like it could use some proper support. These terrible games are made a little more palatable when played on a mouse and keyboard in my opinion. The first game I did, Trigger Man, is just awful to play on controller but with a mouse I kind of enjoy it haha. Thanks for the suggestions. Good stuff! |

Yeah, I tried keeping that in mind when doing my initial list too. Like originally I was thinking Run Like Hell might be a fun one to have mouse support on, but then I remembered that it's almost entirely lock-on combat so I removed it. I think just about every game on my lists have Y-axis aiming, and either no lock-on, or only a soft-lock like in Without Warning's case, where the crosshair is just a bit sticky on enemies. I'm impressed that you're able to disable the auto-aim/auto-centering in games that don't have those settings natively. Fantastic stuff! I'd say Portal Runner quality is more in the "mediocre" range, while Daemon Summoner and Beverly Hills Cop are straight up "bad". But sometimes bad games are fun, and mouse support might even make them decent. :) Trigger Man is a game I was very surprised to see you support with this since I'd only ever heard terrible things about it, but with mouse support it's a pretty fun game! Funny how some of those "bad" games were mainly only due to the controls/poor analog stick aiming, and would've been vastly improved by having a PC port. NeverDead, MindJack, and Quantum Theory on PS3/Xbox 360 immediately come to mind. |

The Legends games would be interesting and surprisingly I hadn't thought of them when looking for PS1 games. The second one seems more suited since it has the analog stick aiming but I could see it working with the first one as well. Thanks for the requests! |

Many thanks for this project! I'd like to request support for Resident Evil Survivor (PSX). I feel like I'm one of the few fans of that game, but playing it using mouse aim would be amazing. The game does have GunCon(?) support, which one could emulate using a mouse, but it makes movement kinda janky. |

This is one I've had on my list to do as well. I've done a few light-gun games and they are usually the most straightforward. I didn't know about the weird controls either with the GunCon until doing some research, like where you have to shoot off-screen to move and what not. I just assumed you could have a controller plugged in to move with while aiming with the GunCon but that's not the case haha. So I think it would definitely benefit from a mouse injection hack. I initially thought of doing a hack for this one that would give it standard FPS controls by locking the cursor to the middle and adding the ability to strafe. Would probably be quite involved because as far as I know there's no strafing in the game natively so it would need to be implemented somehow. It would also just change how the game plays and make it feel completely different from the original but still might be fun. Thanks for the suggestion! |

Never heard of Broken Helix so I was surprised to hear Bruce Campbell's voice in the game haha. Also I do have some Saturn games on the list so I may eventually get to adding support for the system. A few of the games have PC ports but might be worth supporting anyway since sometimes these old games are hard to get running on a modern computer. Thanks for the requests! |

I could only think of two requests. The Operative: No One Lives Forever PS2 (has exclusive mission not on PC) Return to Castle Wolfenstein PS2 (console versions have exclusive prequel mission also not on PC. The xbox version also has some more maps and a new shotgun but I'm not sure if you're planning to support Xemu). Good luck! |

Good to know about the exclusive content because these are two games that I was interested in doing. Also I have looked at adding support for Xemu as there are a few games that I'd like to see mouse input added to but the debugger tools aren't as easy to use as other emulators so the process is a little more involved. It would be nice to get support for the GC version pf Agent Under Fire. It's so far the most moddable version of the game and the AUF Reloaded mod would be nice to play with mouse and keyboard. The PS2 version of Delta Force Black Hawk Down, 24: The Game and the SOCOM series would also be neat. |

I haven't tried the Reloaded mod but it does look interesting. Also it'd be nice to play around with the bots in multiplayer which aren't included in the PS2 version. And I thought the SOCOM games already had mouse support but after some searching it seems they do not so I'll throw them on the list as well. Thanks for the requests! |

Oh hey hello again, I'll throw two PS2 games suggestions here because I would really love to see those getting mouse support, which are Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. Since those games have first person aiming it would be a dream to finally be able to use those modes with accurate mouse aiming, and also by the fact that MGS3 Subsistence has a free camera mode which would be nice to control with the mouse aswell. |

PS2 (with a bit of PS1): Crisis Zone. (IMO, my favorite Time Crisis-related game, outside of Razing Storm) Echo Night, King's Field and Shadow Tower. Any game from those two franchises. Each only has one PS2 game, and are otherwise only on PS1. Should be noted though that the first King's Field has a PC remake that was made by FromSoftware. Xbox (if you feel interested): Mercenaries 1 also, as the Xbox version is the better one, although the PS2 version is fine too. It's a game with a lot of emergent gameplay and its sequel, which is on PC, has very different gameplay and tone, so the first game is still relatively unique in that way. Being able to play it with better controls would be a godsend for the experience that it provides. Ghost Recon 2 also; It's such a shame that game's PC port got cancelled, given it's a PC-centric series. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing the other versions of Ghost Recon 2 get support, though they are different (and IMO, inferior) games. As a small question, is there any interest on Switch, Xenia or RPCS3 stuff? I'd imagine those are a lot harder to work with, and one of them is potentially risky, although Xenia and RPCS3 in particular have some games which people would love to play with mouse and keyboard, but simply can't. |

@Arkham-Slayer It's all good bruv, not trying to be too formal around here. But I also didn't know how good the mouse and keyboard support was either before trying it out with Half-Life. You can even reassign all the keys which I assume is the case for the few games that support using a USB keyboard. Really they just need a way to uncapture the mouse while the game is running and shit would be golden. |

I don't think mouse input would work with Dino Crisis 3, unless brungus could somehow overhaul half the game. He'd need to get rid of the way the game handles the camera (which is frequently in fixed camera angles), lock the camera behind the character's back, and then remove the lock-on aiming and change the way the game entirely does combat. I'd love if that were possible, the game could almost be good if it was a standard third person shooter, but I don't think that's gonna happen without reverse-engineering the whole game. |

After looking at Dino Crisis 3 it definitely would just turn into making a straight up mod of the game. It would be interesting and I may try something like this in the future but compared to the relatively simple modifications of a mouse injector hack it would be much more involved. |

Hello again, I've been having good impressions with this injector so far. I have another request to add: The Punisher (ps2 or xbox). It has a PC version but getting it to run on modern systems seems to be a pain and a re-release doesn't seem all that likely. |

The Punisher is incredibly easy to get running on modern systems, it only requires the widescreen fix and ThirteenAG's fix. I play it at 1440p on Windows 10 with zero issues. |

I was actually thinking about looking at Vice City Stories soon. Cold Fear and RE4 are ones that I wanted to look at but avoided since I assumed the PC ports were just better but I hadn't thought about RetroAchievements as a reason to add support so I'll keep that in mind.
It's been a while since I've done any N64 stuff but I remember it being kind of picky when it comes to hooking so it may require restarting the emulator and the mouse injector. But if you've got RetroArch version 1.14.0 stable, the Mupen64Plus-Next core, and a verified good dump of the US rom then it should work. I tried it with a fresh version of all of those and it hooks every time. There's no configuration options that you need to enable but do make sure that no other supported emulators are running at the same time. Let me know if that helps and thanks for the requests! |

I believe ThirteenAG's fix for Vice City Stories on PCSX2F has an option for mouse control, though it's considered experimental, it seemed to be fully functional when I tried it. (Possibility of it crashing on some missions or maybe I just had one unlucky crash) |

cod 2 Big red one and 3 make sense as Big red one is missing multiplayer on the gamecube version and 3 was never ported to the PC. as for GTA 3-SA to me is a no. while LCS and VCS is a yes due to cod 3's case. no ports elsewhere other then Playstation 2 and portable. with LCS later on getting an port for android and IOS and that's about it. |

Now my come back is here; Knowing that RPCS3 is an interest already allows me to request a few games, but beyond that, there's more games that I thought of just in general. PS3/360: PS3 exclusives: 360 exclusives: As a random suggestion, a very specific Wii game: As for two additional PS1 and 2 games; Baroque on PS1, Chaos Legion and Drakengard 1 and 2 on PS2. Also, RE: Survivor 2 on the PS2. |

Nice! I had a lot of the same ones on my list as well. For these 7th gen games it will depend on their performance. If they run at half of their intended frame rate then I don't really have any interest in adding support. This will change with time obviously as the emulators are developed so in the future they may all be worth looking at. Surprisingly I have not come across the Conduit games, they look pretty interesting so I'll have to take a look at that one as well. Thanks for the requests! |

I've tested many of those games on the 360 list for Xenia's compatibility tracker, and they run well on Xenia Canary. Mouse support was successfully added in the mousehook fork a while back, and it worked with a few games like Halo 3, Perfect Dark, and the GoldenEye remaster. Unfortunately, it has not been updated in some time. Camera offsets have been found for Gears of War 3 (and potentially other UE3 games) here. Hopefully some of this can help! :) |

Congrats, your project really blew up! Here's a few PS1 titles that haven't been mentioned here before:
With the cult following, I imagine these might be good titles for a mouse support, even if they're capped to 20 FPS. Is it possible that in the distant future there might be support for Beetle HW PSX core of RetroArch as well? |

I have thought about the Syphon Filter series. They do have to first-person aiming which should be pretty straight-forward but there would need to be a decision made on how to handle the third-person view since they all seem to use auto-aim. I'll have to mess around with them to see what solution would be best. Also I would like to support as many cores as possible in RetroArch. I'm currently working on adding support for the Sega Saturn core Kronos and adding other cores shouldn't be too difficult so I'll probably take a look at it eventually. Thanks for the requests! |

Thank you for this, I'd like to shine some light on:
WPJ2 and CT have some kind of cursor (they're point-and-clicks) which would be nicer to use with mouse support. WPJ2 has no mouse support added to it at all afaik. However, CT already has a mod for that, so it's on the lowest priority list, just something to remember if you want to give support to most games. <3 |

Hadn't seen any footage of Wonder Project but I'll have to check it out. For any games that have mods to add support like Clock Tower I generally pass on them at the moment. I started on one for Shadowrun for the SNES but found it had such a mod so abandoned it as I feel native support for the mouse is a better approach than mouse injection. I may still end up looking at Clock Tower at some point just out a curiosity. Thanks for the requests! |

I think the Clock Tower mouse support was really bad but I can't be sure if I had the mod or if I used the native mouse support. I remember either really bad mouse accel or something similar that made me quit. |

I have attempted to do MGS Peace Walker for Xenia Mousehook although had bad luck with aiming as the pointer for aiming was multi-chained and quite long, hopefully you can do it assuming PPSSPP Debugger is superb compared to Xenia |

If you have a game that you would like to request please post it here! I may not get to it immediately but I will try to at least take a look at it. I'm not going in any real order here and just work on what seems interesting at the moment, but if you have a request that has already been suggested then I encourage you to still post it as if there are more requests for one particular game then I will be more likely to look at them.
