Hello Cursor Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an unexpected automatic billing on my account. It appears I was billed for a subscription renewal that I did not intend to continue.

I previously subscribed to Cursor on a monthly basis, but I had planned to discontinue the service before the renewal period. Unfortunately, the automatic charge went through before I had the chance to cancel. As I no longer require the subscription, I kindly request a refund for this recent charge.

Please let me know if you need any additional details to process this request. My account email is [email protected]

how can it be refunded if what you paid has already been delivered to you. unless you have a way to return what's delivered. but i don't think that could happen

I'm sorry I viewed many such refund requests which have been completed by the cursor team on issues of autodebit in threads on reddit and cursor forum and GitHub as well.As a matter of fact i sent a mail regarding this within 10 minutes of the autodebit when I noticed amount has been deducted and realized it was the Autopay that has been setup.If not for the December month I hope atleast the jan month amount which has been deducted just yesterday be refunded since I won't be using their services anymore,if theres any way to stop the pro subscription and a refund is there I'll gladly take it.

i dont know their refund policy. however, for my understanding, subscription is buying the rights to use, not a payment for actual usage. so if you were able to use, that means it has been delivered.

Yes it's monthly basis for which you make a one time payment each time.
I'm not at all saying that I haven't been able to use their services after payment has been done,instead i'm saying that autopay has been setup due to which amount has been deducted though I don't require their services any longer.
I acknowledge the carelessness from my part about not cancelling the Autopay feature ,but it would surely help if refund is initiated ,at the very least for the January month since amount has been debited just yesterday.I do not mind if my Authorization for pro usage is revoked,I just want a refund.
