The terms are provided in search results, but information about is hidden to the user. So the result does not provide any benefit to the user, but makes the thing more complicated.
I know that the URI attribute is available in the developer instance of the terminology server. But I think this does not solve the whole problem. Currently WORMS provides the custom attribute status. But that requires a special handling for WORMS. I think a general way of handling invalid terms in all terminologies would make it easier to use the API in a generic way.
