Description from a user:

When your plugin is active in Chrome, it breaks X. Pages very slow to load and no auto refresh. Have had to pause and be subjected to the evil of Empty Husk.
I'm not screenshotting my X feed for you, but attach a shot of Ghostery at the point the issues started (replicated fresh for you). I'm using Windows 11 and Chrome, both freshly installed yesterday after a PC reset. The only plugins in use are Bitwarden (never causes this problem) and Ghostery.
Replication is easy.
Open Chrome - navigate to X
Spend a few minutes scrolling, reading etc.
Shortly the page will load only extremely slowly and be deeply unresponsive.
Closing the tab and reopening resets it, but within a few minutes it starts again.
Pausing Ghostery clears the misbehavior.
