Hello @glenndehaan,

That you for the docs, they have been very useful!

A bit of context: I have 2 scenes, both belong to the "SuperGroup". First of all, the status of the scenes always comes as "active - true", which when all lights are off, I would assume that is wrong. But I have the idea that you have mentioned this somewhere in the docs that is a common bug.

The problem that i am encountering is that when i activate one scene, all devices seem to be affected, not only the ones listed in the scene... But when I activate the scene from the IKEA app, the scene behaves as expected.

In your experience, do you know what could be happening?

Hi,

Yeah the scene status is indeed bugged and this had been so since the "moods" rebrand. The thing is that the app now just checks the lights individually to determen the state.

The other thing is new for me. So just to clarify: You have a group of lights and want to apply a scene to them right?
Are you then doing so with this method: https://github.com/glenndehaan/ikea-tradfri-coap-docs#activating-a-scene

Or are you using the "SuperGroup" that contains all lights to activate the scene. Because then you should select another group.
