Button to Reposition 3D Object in AR View

Is it possible in the AR view to create a button that, when pressed, repositions the 3D object 1 meter in front of you?

It could be done but only on Android devices, since we don't have control over UI elements in QuickLook (iOS). As far as I know you cant add anything to that UI except the banner thing iOS has.

As for the Android part you could connect an event listener to the button that would move the object position on the correct axis when clicked.

Hi, thanks for responding. I understand what you're saying, but I don't know how to move the object. I managed to rotate and scale it, but I don't know how to move it. Do you know how?

Change its position value through code. First you have to select the model and than change its position on one axis (im not sure if its x or z, but probably z).

moveableObj = mw[sceneSym].children[0].children[0]; (this was the hierarchy for my old model)
moveableObj.position.z = 2;
