Now that we have a perf suite, what would be useful is:
a tool to draw / print a histogram of number-of-quadratics per cubic for the test corpus. This is useful as a quick check whenever one modifies the algorithm,
a tool to check cu2qu output to ensure the error does not exceed specified tolerance. Would also be interesting to print out a histogram of curve error rates.
for a small, hardcoded, list of curves and tolerance numbers, know exactly what the optimal answer is and check that we find.
