What's wrong?
The otelcol.receiver.prometheus uses the prometheus receiver code underneath the covers but it is a lift and copy since its internal. This means we have drifted over the past 3 years. We likely need to reimport at some point.
Steps to reproduce
There is some issues with relabels around job name that might be fixed upstream.
