Time to discuss a CAN4VSCP+ "standard" using CAN FD.

Free thoughts

• A 10 way selector on the unit to set the speed. 0 -> long length 9 -> Max speed.
• Can take VSCP level II events with size limit. May be useful for measurements with greater precision than double can give.
• New connector. Just use pin header. Adapter if RJ-xx cable is needed.
• Same voltage 9V -28V
