Command 'yy' highlights line for inordinately long time

This is not configurable at the moment, but the highlight lasts under a second for me. Do you have any repro steps?

On win and linux, 'yy' gives a 0.1 sec blink of a empty line-only selection box. That is perfectly fine.

On mac, 'yy' gives a 0.5-0.75 sec filled and highlighted selection rectangle, which I personally find annoying. Then, a fast command like 'yyppppp' colors in an entire filled block section (for 0.5-0.75 sec), and that is very distracting and very annoying.
