The class Callouts is deprecated?

I tried to build and run the old example osgearth_callouts, using osgEarth 3.3.0 build 135 with Visual Studio 2022 Community in Win11 X64, it can be built but run failed:

So I create a very simple project to test it:

It can run. But if I added one anothe Callout with label->setText("testCallout2");, like this:

It run failed like the osgearth_callouts example. If I removed label->setUID("second");, it can run but showed only one Callout.

The Callout class is no longer in use - we forgot to remove it from the repository.
