Overview

This is a list of bugs discovered that need to be formally written.

Details

There are a lot of bugs in the TDM site. It can take a considerable amount of time to write a bug as an issue. The purpose of this issue is to allow a space for the design team to write down brief descriptions of the bugs they find so that they can write an issue for them at a later time.

Adding a Bug to the List

  1. In a new comment, create a task list item that describes a discovered bug.
  2. Post the comment.
  3. At some point in the near future, write the bug as an issue.
  4. Check the task item in the comment.
  5. Add the issue number in the description of the comment.
  6. Close the comment as Resolved.

  • Modals: When using Tab, the focus sometimes starts on the left button and sometimes the right button. This should be made consistent.
  • Create Project Page 1, Create Project Page 3: Asterisks are the wrong red color.
  • Create Project Page 2: Error text is the wrong red color.
  • Login, Create a New Account, Send Password Recovery Email, Create Project Page 1, Page 2: Error messages are not left-aligned with their fields. This is not consistent with the style guide.
  • Login: “Continue Without Saving” button does not have a black border.
  • Login: Both buttons do not have a height of 48 pixels.
  • My Projects: If the viewport width is less than 890 pixels, the Reset Filters/Sort button is not fully visible.
  • Logged In: Between the viewport widths of 768 and 1100 pixels, there usually isn’t a way to view or access the Logout button if the user is logged into an account.
  • My Projects: Reset Filters/Sort button has incorrect coloring around the button and is enormous.
  • My Projects: Once the viewport is 1917 pixels or more, the checkboxes of rows are no longer horizontally aligned with the checkbox in the header row.
  • My Projects: Once the viewport is 1917 pixels or more, the right border of the Reset Filters/Sort button is no longer aligned with the right border of the table.
  • My Projects: Once the viewport is small, the filter icons are inconsistent in size.
  • My Projects: When the “Convert to Snapshot” or “Rename Snapshot” functions are selected, the placeholder text for the modal’s field says “Name of duplicated project.” It’s not a duplicate. It’s a snapshot, which is a separate concept from a draft.
  • My Projects: When the “Convert to Snapshot” or “Rename Snapshot” functions are selected, the modal’s confirmatory button isn’t in the primary button style.
  • My Projects: When the “Convert to Snapshot” or “Rename Snapshot” functions are selected, the modal’s confirmatory button says “Done”, but should say something more like “Convert”.
  • My Projects: Admin Notes. “Keep Editing” button has wrong border colors. Caused by Implement Admin Notes Editing Dialog #1931.
  • My Projects: Admin Notes. “Discard Changes” button text is black instead of white. Caused by Implement Admin Notes Editing Dialog #1931.
  • My Projects: Admin Notes. “Cancel” button uses tertiary instead of secondary colors. Caused by Implement Admin Notes Editing Dialog #1931.
  • My Projects: Admin Notes. “Save” and “Cancel” buttons use too much padding on the top and bottom. Caused by Implement Admin Notes Editing Dialog #1931.
  • My Projects: Admin Notes. Add Note and Edit Note icons are not vertically centered in rows. Caused by Implement Admin Notes Editing Dialog #1931.
  • My Projects: Names in the Created By filter are “first last” instead of “last, first”.
    • See if this bug was already entered by John.
  • My Projects: When a date filter is used in the Submitted column, results that have no date still appear.
  • Create Project pages: Thin blue border around the page content.
  • Page 1: When the viewport width is less than 965 pixels, the “Page 1/5” text is overlapped by the “Try hovering over a term…” container.
  • Page 3: Black border around the “Your project level is 0” infobox. This is the result of an accident from the Figma, so it’s design’s fault, not development’s. This is from Design: Increase legibility of infobox text for "Your project level is 0!" page #1935.
  • Page 5: Print Summary button should not have a printer icon.
  • Terms and Conditions: No space between paragraphs.
  • Page 4: When the “Due to changes made to project specifications…” modal appears, it unchecks the “Residential or Employment Package” checkbox, but does not remove the data added in the Encouragement Program dropdown. Is this behavior intentional?
  • Checklist: Text is not horizontally centered in modal when the viewport is more than 1280 pixels.
