On Ubuntu 14.04LTS I get this when running "make"

a2x -f pdf IntroToSpartanFPGABook.asc -d book --stylesheet=IntroToSpartanFPGABook.css
a2x: ERROR: "dblatex" -t pdf -p "/etc/asciidoc/dblatex/asciidoc-dblatex.xsl" -s "/etc/asciidoc/dblatex/asciidoc-dblatex.sty" "/home/me/IntroToSpartanFPGABook/IntroToSpartanFPGABook.xml" returned non-zero exit status 1

not sure what the problem is

This is resolved by adding the UCF highlighting code as described in the readme.
However on Ubuntu 14.04LTS the correct file for this is
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/listings/lstlang1.sty
