Adding a "this()" function?

Any thoughts on adding a this function? Same logic as next and prev, but doesn't first move the "time pointer" forward or backward. I think it would be useful for getting the "first" interval after parseExpression, as well as possibly getting the "same" interval that was returned from the most recent next or prev.

PS - Maybe "this" isn't the best name for this function (although it is valid), so maybe "current" or something like that?
