Hey there @markperdue, @webdjoe, @TheGardenMonkey, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration ( Code owner commandsCode owners of
(message by CodeOwnersMention) vesync documentation |
I have the same issue |
I also have this issue, works fine in the vesync app, but not showing up as a device in HA. |
+1 on issue. Don't know if it might help, but there is tuya integration mentioned on the packaging, but when I try to discover the device with Tuya app, it doesn't find it, so very VeSync only oriented. |
I have the same problem and everything i tried does not help. |
+1 same issue here. Purchased a UK socket and installed via VeSync app (tried to with Tuya/Smart Life, but was unable to find the device). VeSync integration on HA cannot find the device |
Hi. same issue here. The vesync integration is OK but no device is showing up. |
Just for your Information. The corresponding Javascript library doesn't have the Greensun device in it yet. |
There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. |
Started working on this issue also. I was able to add a new DeviceType to pyvesync, so that at least the names and device types (all WYSMTOD16A) are returned. Next, I'm trying to implement toggle switch and get energy data. Therefore I've dumped the traffic, but don't know exactly how to extract the necessary data like:
or is there a webfrontend for vesync.com? |
Same issue here. Anything new in this case? |
I also have 4 of those GreenSun plugs I'd love to get included in Home Assistant and ended up here while looking for help. Is there anything I can do to help get this working? Is there a tutorial on how to gather the debug info that a software developer might need? |
Same issue here.. |
+1 |
Same issue here. I can't see the Green Sun product in HomeAssistant. |
Same issue here. 8 devices, desperately looking to use them with HA |
Habe mir eine Smarte Steckdose gekauft um den Ertrag Bon meinem Balkonkraftwerk Solar zu messen und kann dies auch in der Smartlife App sehen aber nicht in Homeassistent. |
Same here, bought way too many of those. Would love to see an integration. Big thanks! |
Same for me, still looking for solutions. |
Same issue here 😕 |
Same Problem here. It's another GreenSun Plug (BSD33). |
Same problem here with GreenSun HSC-ZW-EU |
Hi @markperdue @webdjoe @TheGardenMonkey @cdnninja, same issue here. The vesync integration is OK but no device is showing up.
in https://github.com/home-assistant/core/blob/dev/homeassistant/components/vesync/const.py do not contains Greensun device |
Same issue here... |
The underlying API doesn't support it yet. Until that happens it can't be added here. webdjoe/pyvesync#194 |
At least get_details is working:
|
@jmplonka can you explain where I need to put this? I'm fairly new to home assistant |
@Felitendo: please be patient - updates are on their way. |
Nice, thank you |
The problem
Hello,

I purchased a smart switch branded GreenSun, but it uses the VeSync app. It measures the voltage, power, etc. This is a picture of it:
Everything works on my Android app, but I really want to bring in the data about energy consumption into HA. I installed the VeSync integration.
In Settings | Integration VeSync is loaded, and Integration entries shows my account, but there are no entities or devices.
Does the device need to be branded Etekcity to work?
Thank you.
