My idea:

• provide a docker-compose file / startup script with 2 agents
• expose the 4 ports via gitpod ( 2 bpa , 2 acapy) publicly
• configure the related urls in .env file . They look like https://<port>-<gitpod-workspace-url>, pod-workspace-url is provided as env var.
• for frontend dev. also a devserver can be launched

I have looked at the local network setup which I haven't used yet.
When I find time I add a small gitpod config to our project which configures this local setup.
Goal would be to press the gitpod button and you can start playing with your 2 agents rightaway or even start coding / debugging. Infrastructure like network and uni-resolver and 2 agents are already running.

I configured gitpod now a little to prebuild a bpa in the background and launch it when you "start your IDE" .
The relevant ports are also exposed and therefore the BPA can interact with others.

Could be great for developers at Bosch or other big companies who have an ugly proxy annoying them all the time ;-)

it's awesome -- great work. One question. Should two BPAs be started, so that the user can immediately have exchanges?

I'm thinking the readme that comes up should be GitPod specific that let's you run a tutorial right away? Perhaps two -- one for how to demonstrate BPA, and a second on how to do development in the GitPod environment.

yes, for sure. I'm pretty sure we will have a few more refinements on the document once the devs start using all these refactored compose files. I'll make a note to include this.

I disabled security in the gitpod setup, it is anyway disabled in on of the agents.
Should be fine in such a dev scenario.
