Can't see the Plugin on MAC #150
Comments
The same for me, I have a Mac M2 Pro, Mac OS 13.3.1. I can see the files/folders ("bin" / "data") here : I also tried an old (?) method and put the .so in this folder /Applications/OBS.app/Contents/Plugins Always nothing in OBS menu for my both tests. |
Same here. On an M1 MacBook Pro running 13.1, OBS 29.1.2, and plugin v3.0.0 (arm64 package). |
same here |
Mac mini M1 - Ventura 13.3.1 Plugin now showing up either. |
Mac Mini M2 Ventura 13.5 and OBS 29.1.3 Same here. |
Same here Macbook air m1 macOS Ventura 13.3 OBS 29.1.3 plugin v3.0.0 (arm64 package). |

Same, at least I think so |
me too. |
Same problem here. Macbook pro m1 macOS Sonoma OBS 30 plugin v3.0.0/v3.0.1 |
Still no love on the M1 in the latest beta 2. The OBS Studio log shows no entries related to obs-rtspserver at all and it doesn't appear in the Tools menu. Scott, it'd be great if you could look into that. |
Same issue. Installer finishes without issues. "The installation was successful. The software was installed." Apple M1 Pro, 14" 2021 Tried both installing "for all users of this computer" and "for me only". Can't see mention of anything relating to RTSP Server in the logs (searched "rtsp", "server"), double checked loaded modules and nothing there. |
The same problem here With M1 Pro, also Intel |
Same issue on a M1 Max running: Sonoma |

same |
I tried both Apple and Intel versions of OBS and the plugin, still a problem (even after a year of this issue being open). Not a good first impression of this plugin and authors if they haven't even acknowledged the issue. |
+1 |
放弃吧,不会支持mac兄弟!over! |
后续补充,我所在的场景换了个方向用 webrtc(WHIP/WHEP) 了,挺好用,推荐。而且 OBS 自带。支持浏览器直接推流 |
The file in question doesn’t appear to be at the path, I’ve searched the app contents and it’s now within the framework folder. Maybe that has been a change to the api that means this needs recompiling? Hope it gets fixed as really wanted to connect OSB to Frigate. |
any fixes yet? |
It seems this plug-in has been abandoned. |
I tried all the installers on my Apple M1 Pro MAC OS 13.1 (22C65) without finding the Plugin in the Menuebar.
