Reopen participant responses

Would it be possible to include a feature that reopens the responses by participants after the final date has been selected? Either by cancelling the final date (basically reverting the process), or by keeping the date selection but still accepting the new responses / modifications (with a possibility to make a new final date selection). Thanks for response.
