When?

If using (tensor product) Gauss-Legendre points,
or if using Lobatto-Gauss-Legendre points with permission to lump (Interface for LGL mass lumping? #348).

Places where this is relevant:

application of the mass operator
application of the face mass operator

This is related to #343, but for the forward operators.
