in 8.0 and 9.0 branches of install-odoo-saas.sh there is the python-support package installation command.
ubuntu 16.04 has not such package and installation stops with an error on this step

In master branch there is no python-support package installation command. Do we need this package in other versions of ubuntu, i.e. 14.04? What for?

Hi @iledarn !

Accord to launchpad the package was removed on 2016-02-23 by Matthias Klose

"This package contains the 'update-python-modules' script, which takes
care of byte-compilation of Python-only modules.
.
Private modules are automatically rebuilt upon major Python upgrades,
avoiding the need for strong dependencies.
.
Public modules are automatically made available for all installed
Python versions.
"

I was solved the problem with this command line

wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/109052632/python-support_1.0.15_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i python-support_1.0.15_all.deb
