Better content creation flow

The current content creation process is pretty clunky. There's a modal with a bunch of buttons for different types of content and then you click on one of those for yet another modal with even more options inside. It would be nice if there were less starting options (presets / text / other) and when choosing other it would automatically detect what type of content you were trying to add.
