TYPO3 12 and do without jQuery

I have two questions regarding possible future versions.

Will there be a version of the extension for TYPO3 12 LTS?

Would it be possible in future versions to do without jQuery for the file upload and use pure Javascript?
For the dependencies, you could use Tom Select https://github.com/orchidjs/tom-select instead of selectize.js, for example.

Hi! We do plan on supporting the TYPO3 12 LTS release.

Regarding the jQuery Issue, I agree, not requiring jQuery would be better, but it's not really a priority right now.
If however, you decide to imlement it with another library, feel free to create a pull request, we might consider merging it.
