From #5 - I should add attributes for the interpolation method into the Spectrum class to be able to change them inside the operators.
So that the interpolation settings can be changed for other. e.g. linear, cubic etc. even when using the operators e.g. spec1 - spec2

There is a _interp_method property and getter but it is not used yet in the interpolation functions
