"Erscheinungsjahr" not shown

myMPD version: 19.0.1

I added "Erscheinungsjahr" and some more tags to my music files through MusicBrainz Picard. Verifying this via "Lieddetails" it shows the right information under "ORIGINALDATE". In all other cases "Erscheingsjahr" is empty.

I can not reproduce this. Please attach debug logs and add screenshots as described in the bug report template.

You see the ORIGINALDATE only in the comments tab of the song details? It seems your tagging program does not write the originaldate tag correctly, but writes only the comments. Correct tag should be TDOR and is only available with ID3v2.4 as far I know. I tag also with picard and it works in my setup.

I move this to discussions as it is most likely not a myMPD bug.

Then you have a tagging or mpd issue.

I use only mp3 with id3v2.4 tags. I saw flac in your screenshots. You use it with vorbis comments?

Thank you for the quick analysis. I think you are right. I do not use vorbis comments and I do not have access to all tags.
