There is some media on my server with the EAC3 5.1 and 7.1 audio format that have played successfully on this device within the last month (I forget if it was direct play or remux). I'm unsure of the exact time this started happening, but now this media will not play. It shows the "Too many errors, giving up" error on the Android-TV client.
This media direct plays on every other client that requests it.
The only indication of error that I'm seeing is in the ffmpeg logs which I have not seen before:
[out#0/hls @ 0x557d0ed50300] Codec AVOption threads (set the number of threads) has not been used for any stream. The most likely reason is either wrong type (e.g. a video option with no video streams) or that it is a private option of some encoder which was not actually used for any stream.
The server logs for this media don't indicate anything abnormal from what I can tell.
