Is the program using automatically updated dependencies?

Currently I do not exactly know how the dependency updates are handled, I assume manually.
Maybe something like https://github.com/dependabot could be useful to minimize development overhead.

We are already using dependabot for automatic updates. Does not work for everything, but it is quite nice sometimes.
