Improving / changing the app logo

Currently it seems quit simple and not as unique, because the check icon which is often used in system elements.
I was wondering if someone with more knowledge has design tips, as my knowledge on this is quite lackluster.

@johannesjo what do you think of this? Do you like the app logo as it is currently?

Personally, I am fine with the logo as it is. It is simple and to the point. I also like that the checkmark could also be interpreted as a white bird over a blue sky.

I am open for suggestions though!
