Your Environment

  • Version used: 11.0.3
  • Operating System and version: Fedora 41
  • Desktop Environment: Plasma desktop + podman/docker
  • Browser Name and version: Falkon 24.12.0

Expected Behavior

I scheduled a task to happen at the end of my day, and I didn't mark it as done
until next day. Next day, when marking it done, I add the time taken to, for ex.,
2h. I'd expect the work time to count as work for the former day.

Current Behavior

The working time counts as of the day it is marked as done.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Create an scheduled task for today, anytime.
  2. Don't mark it done today, nor use the finish day option.
  3. Next day, mark it done, and see the work time of your just started day.

Can you reproduce this reliably?

Yes.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding!
