Flesh out interface [TODO]

Just jotting down a few ideas before I snooze, will edit later..:

• Basic interface shared among all ext modules
• Each trait method should return its associated error if an error arises

So I'm working on my PhD in computer vision... although I'm still rather new (to rust and to CV) and my experience is pretty niche. That aside, I'd love to help on this library. I'm not sure that I've been enough of a practitioner to have useful opinions on an API design, however.

When it comes time to implement some algorithms I'd be happy to take a crack at some things.
