Providing an option by which a form can be submitted via WebSockets.
Expected Behavior:
While I know WebSockets is more known for push notifications and ongoing duplex communications, I understand some prefer to use it for form submissions in preference to regular HTTP for security reasons (I guess some of the header vulnerabilities may not apply?). If you see this as indeed desirable (apologize for not having found much on the subject), I was thinking it might be convenient to be able to reuse the same API with jquery form.
(I suppose one could even have configuration to keep the connection ongoing, e.g., for forms which are not just one-use, but my own current use case is just if it may hold advantages for login.)
If you are open to this, I may be able to prepare a PR to implement, but wanted to know if you had heard of such usage and your opinion about it if so.
Actual behavior:
One must use Ajax or write one's own WebSockets code without the ability to reuse jquery form code.
