We have several different approaches for navigating between different screens and how breadcrumbs behave.
(see also https://github.com/kiali/kiali-design/issues/4#issuecomment-400154688)
We need a consistent navigation and breadcrumbs through the application

an example use case

  • how a breadcrumbs for a service should look like when user is on a single service screen?
  • should a tab like overview/yaml be reflected in the breadcrumbs?
  • should the breadcrumbs be also displayed on the graph?
  • should the user be able to navigate to the graph from a service's page only via the left menu? or also another navigation option should be provided?
  • how user should be able to navigate from a single entity page to the "plural" page? (from service A back to services, from workload C to workloads page, etc.) back button? via breadcrumb? via left menu only?
