How to Add a New Kernel To the Sample Implementation:
======================================+++++++========
1.) Add kernel \defgroup in vx_nodes.h. Describe kernel in detail.
\defgroup group_kernel_xxxxxxx Kernel: XXXXXXX
\brief A brief description of one sentence.
\details A much longer description. Math equations are ok, see MathJax.org.
2.) Add vx Node prototype in include/VX/vx_nodes.h
a.) add all doxygen tags
b.) \ingroup group_kernel_xxxxxx
c.) Add to sample/framework/openvx.def symbol export
3.) Add vxu function prototype in include/VX/vxu.h
a.) add all doxygen tags
b.) \ingroup group_kernel_xxxxxx
c.) Add to sample/vxu/vx_utility.def symbol export
4.) Add kernel enum in include/VX/vx_kernels.h
a.) The kernel enums can't be in the \ingroup as the whole enum are in their own group.
Use \see or \ref.
5.) Add any external types needed (enums, etc) in include/VX/vx_types.h
a.) These can also be in \ingroup group_kernel_xxxxxx
6.) Create file in sample/targets/c_model/
a.) vx_<verb>.c or vx_<object><verb>.c or vx_<verb><object>.c
b.) write kernel
c.) write input validator
d.) write output validator
e.) declare vx_param_description_t array
f.) declare vx_kernel_description_t structure
1.) references Kernel, enum, stringname, input/output validators, parameter array.
g.) extern the kernel table entry in sample/targets/c_model/vx_interface.h
h.) reference kernel table in table list in sample/targets/c_model/vx_interface.c
i.) Add filename to Android.mk (concerto.mak will automatically compile all the C files).
7.) Add Node declaration in sample/framework/vx_node_api.c
8.) Add vxu function (must use Single node Graph) in sample/vxu/vx_utility.c
9.) Either modify or add new unit test in sample/tests/vx_test.c
a.) Use either Graph or Immediate mode
10.) Test until working. :)
