System Settings stuck when using Background Music

Description of the bug

Makes the Sound section of System Settings stuck / crash.

Steps to reproduce

• Install Background Music normally
• Start Background Music
• Open the Sound of System Settings
• Settings will stuck, sometimes crashes

Versions

• Background Music: 0.4.3
• macOS: 15.1 (24B82)

Hardware

• Computer: MacBook Pro 13-inch, M1, 2020
• Audio Device: All built-in

Getting the same issue on macOS 15.1 with MacBook Pro 16-inch, M4, 2024.

Background Music also freezes when I try to open its preferences, and the virtual input source does not work at all.

Same issue with macOS 15 Sequoia with Macbook Pro 14'' M3 Pro Max. Background Music freeze and disappear (collapse) completely when trying to use Quicktime to do screen recording (BGM as input audio). It requires sudo kill to restart the audio drivers, but it is definitely a bug that needs to be fixed for MacOS 15. @kyleneideck

MacOS 15.3 Sequoia, Air M2 is also the same, I ask for improvement
