Statement logging isn't working?

I have been unable to print query statements in my program for several weeks. I filed #3082, but I don't actually know if it's a bug or not. Anyway, I thought I'd ask here in case anyone else has any ideas what's wrong.

In sum, I believe I'm following the instructions in #1874 but my queries aren't generating any output to the console.

When I print out the query result using .sql(), I get the unbound query, with the dollar signs still in it. But I'm also seeing this on the server side. So is it actually the case that SQLx never has the unbound version at all, and that it passes the SQL and the bound values separately to the DB?

Yes, SQLx passes the unbound query and all the parameters separately and lets Postgres compose them. That's good to know. Still wondering how logging works though!
