Is Fast Robot Interface Extension module publicly available?

Hello,

One of the critical steps in enabling fri with the KUKA arms is the Fast Robot Interface Extension. As I understand it, this is a separate extension module from KUKA.

Is there a publicly available copy of Fast Robot Interface Extension? Did your KUKA sunrise cabinets came with this module pre-installed?

Yes, the FRI is a paid extension. However, it is a very frequently bought extension. If you see these tick boxes in Sunrise Workbench:

you should have access to it. Otherwise you'll have to contact KUKA I am afraid.

Hi @mhubii apologies for reopening this thread but I was given the go ahead for getting a quote on the FRI extension for our lab. In this regard, which particular version of FRI would you suggest we should get that has the maximal compatibility with lbr-stack? We have a KUKA iiwa7 arm mounted on top of an industrial manipulator.
