Dear Laragon Development Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a developer who relies on screen readers for my daily work. I have encountered accessibility challenges with Laragon's integrated terminal, which appears to be incompatible with screen readers such as NVDA and JAWS. This issue significantly hampers the usability of Laragon for visually impaired users.
Issue Details:
• Incompatibility with Screen Readers: The current terminal interface does not convey output in a manner that screen readers can interpret, rendering it inaccessible.
Potential Solutions:
1.
Enhancing the Integrated Terminal:
• Implement Screen Reader Mode: Consider enabling a screen reader mode within the terminal. For instance, the xterm.js library offers a screenReaderMode option that facilitates accessibility improvements.
I would appreciate your consideration of these suggestions to improve Laragon's accessibility. Please let me know if I can assist further or provide additional insights from a user's perspective.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
[Ronny]
