We currently support preview of few basic attachments:

  • application/pdf -> Opens the PDF viewer OK
  • message/rfc822 -> Opens a new window for previewing the message OK
  • text/html -> Opens the PDF viewer OK

But some other simple types are not handled gracefully: I need to download, open etc... Which is annoying.

Maybe we could get preview for the following types:

  • image/* ?
  • text/plain ?
  • text/markdown shown as text/plain without rendering?

Even opening in a new TAB would be acceptable...
